Accommodation: Both camping and Banda options available throughout. Members pay for whatever they choose; camping is usually Ksh 500 and Banda’s Ksh 1,000
Transport: In comfortable land cruisers that sit 6 persons.

Included: All meals provided for 9 days.All camping equipment, including mattress and pillow, provided but you pay your own camp/banda fee.

Kiambethu Tea Farm Tour, Tigoni

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city with this
fantastic day outing not too far away from Nairobi. Kiambethu Farm is a
stunning tea plantation with the most beautiful gardens and view of the Ngong
Hills. The lovely farm is situated in Limuru area on sloping hills. The drive
through tea and coffee plantations as you get closer to the farm & the
surrounding countryside while on the farm offers many great photo
opportunities.

• A tour of the tea farm & 1-acre indigenous forest (where you will
get to hear about the various flora and their medicinal use.);
• A brief talk on the history of tea in Kenya, (how it is grown, processed and sold), by the granddaughter of the original farmer;
• Complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks;
• An excellent 3 course lunch, which is a fantastic array of different healthy foods made from vegetables grown in their garden.
After lunch you are at leisure to visit the extraordinary garden, full of lush vegetation, extravagant flowers, and colorful birds.

Christmas Safari – December 26-January 1, 2018
The 7-day Christmas safari will take us to Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Lakes Jipe and Chala and Grogan’s castle. There will be a historic component as well. We shall take in the story of the Maneaters of Tsavo, the life of Ewart Grogan and the historic sites of Taveta.

Included Full board on safari
Not included: Park entry, transport and guided walk in Ziwani
Those who have their own transport can sign up for part of the safari.

The KMS shop will be closed on 25th, 26th & 27th December and 1st January 2014.
The shop will be open on other days apart from the above mentioned dates, so please visit our beautiful well stocked shop & do your christmas shopping.
