KMS Talk on Zoom – Meet the Natodomeri Lion of Northwestern Kenya, Thur 4 June 2020

Welcome. Karibu.

What does learning about the Natodomeri Lion teach us about our current society?

We’re glad you’re here to learn more about what we have in mind for the rest of 2020.

First we are going to kick off a few mini presentations with NMK researchers and others.  These mini presentations are an opportunity for you to hear from and ask questions about a topic or issue from an expert which you might not traditionally be able to access. After each of these events, more information on the topic will be shared so that you can continue the exploration.

Next, we are going to create new types of events and activities.  For example, a live quiz, an offline scavenger hunt and other tasks which you can do on your own.

A few tips to get the most out of the next few months (understanding this is new for many of us)

  • Have an open mind
  • Offer constructive feedback on what you liked about an event and did not.
  • Volunteer ideas and as creator if an activity or task if you have a special talent/skill
  • Encourage others to join the Society. We will be creating Member-only experiences as well.

In this section you’ll find a variety of helpful resources and tips to get the most out of the experience.

We’re so excited to have you join us on this journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Please register using this link and we will send you the zoom meeting link/ID.
