Greening a Nairobi Highway: city trees for people and nature in East Africa

Cathy, an Ashoka fellow with a degree in biology from Princeton and a graduate certificate in agroforestry from University of Missouri, is passionate about youth, trees and biodiversity, especially in East Africa.
She has been restoring the Redhill Rd-Waiyaki Way Link Road since Dec 2019 and looks forward to talking about it.
