The wildebeest migration moves out of Kenya into Tanzania in late October. This migration is exclusively dependent on the rainfall pattern. The big wildebeest herds move into the Ndutu Plains, arriving here in November/December. In February the calving season begins and an average of 8,000 calves are born daily.
