LED LIGHTS ARE SAVING LIVESTOCK, LIONS AND OTHER CARNIVORES – Tue 8 Oct, Karen Country Club

October 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

- Ksh2,000

By David Y. Mascall

Big Cat specialist, Environmentalist and Lover of Lions

Did you know that there are less than 2,000 lions left in Kenya?

For the greater part of his life, Mascall had a fascination for lions, their mystique, their charisma and their beauty. He worked for 12 years with captive lions at the Nairobi Orphanage and is now focusing on wild lions.

Join this important discussion and learn how installations of predator entry deterrent lights (a.k.a ‘lion lights’) around bomas all over Kenya are saving livestock from predation and wildlife from retaliatory killings. Find out how you can get involved.
