Marula Estate is a flower farm located in Naivasha, 90 Kms from Nairobi. Kenya’s economy largely relies on the agriculture sector which contributes 22% of GDP. 3% of the national GDP is from the horticulture sub-sector while 1.6% is from the flower industry. Join us and learn how flower farming is done in Kenya, its challenges and success.
Birdwatchers please carry your binoculars and get a chance to spot one of the residence birds of Naivasha and it’s environ. (Long-tailed and Great Cormorants can be seen, along with Fish Eagles and Pied Kingfishers among others.)
